Vjola Haka, Staff Research Associate I

Vjola Haka is our newest Research Associate who graduated from UCLA (’22) with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She is currently working with the drug development team investigating the efficacy of a novel EGFR TKI against EGFR mutant, patient-derived orthotopic GBM xenografts. Her work includes performing intracranial injections, reading luminescence assays, analyzing tumor-burden data, and treating mice with various drugs such as Erlotinib and Osimertinib. In her free time, she likes to hike, run and travel.
