Jenny Salinas is a graduate student researcher at UCLA, currently pursuing a Ph.D in the Molecular and Medical Pharmacology program. Jenny received her B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Riverside. Jenny started in this lab as a staff research associate primarily focusing on developing and characterizing our glioma model system library. Now as a graduate student, her current research focuses on how to exploit lipid metabolic pathways to induce cell death in glioma. Ultimately, Jenny’s goals are to gain a greater understanding of lipid metabolic rewiring in glioma. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing basketball and spoiling her two frenchies.
