PostDoc POsition
The Nathanson Lab is seeking a postdoctoral research position to conduct collaborative translational brain cancer research in the area of cell signaling and/or apoptosis. The position will include investigating the underlying signaling events responsible for resistance intrinsic apoptosis in malignant brain cancer, with the goal of developing new therapeutic opportunities against cell death/survival pathways. Research opportunities in both independent and collaborative research projects in cancer and immunotherapy.
The applicant should have an established track-record of contributions and publications to cancer or disease research, working both independently and in a team/collaborative environment. Knowledge and expertise in signal transduction and/or apoptosis is required.
The Nathanson Lab is a NIH-funded laboratory (R01s, multiple program grants) and UCLA offers a rich environment for translational science e.g. UCLA Brain SPORE (NIH Specialized Program of Research Excellence).
