Elizabeth (Lisa) Cha is a first-year PhD student in the Neuroscience (NSIDP) program. She completed the first two years of medical school and is in her third year overall at the UCLA-Caltech MSTP, where she is working towards both her MD and PhD. She is originally from the bay area and outside of school she enjoys running, matcha lattes, and continuing her duolingo streak. For research, she is interested in approaching GBM through a lens of principals in basic neuroscience and glial biology.  Ultimately, she hopes to move the needle in the treatment of GBM through both basic science research and clinical understanding of the disease.
